Sara + Hogan
Sara and Hogan got married at Congaree and Penn in Jacksonville, Florida. They had the idea of getting married in one of the fields there and we were all about it. We came up with a floor plan which we passed on to Congaree and Penn and they cut the grass to make an aisle, ceremony circle and a place for the guest to sit on benches. We wanted it to feel natural and added 15 or so different type of grasses to the ceremony site. Some of the grass Hogan’s family foraged and dried from their farm in Nebraska. The reception tied into the ceremony with some of the same elements on the tables and two very cool hanging structures that hung above the dance floor. Hogan is a graphic designer, so you know all the signage, menus and stationery were perfect. Together they both had wonderful ideas and were so great to work with.
